The Canton Fair has five features:

First, it will be more innovative. Among the participating enterprises in this Canton Fair, there are more than 5,500 national-level high-tech enterprises, individual champions in manufacturing, and specialized new "little giant" enterprises, an increase of 20% over the previous session. It is expected that the new products on display will exceed 1 million, green products will exceed 450,000, and independent intellectual property products will exceed 250,000, which has increased compared with the previous session. More than 4,000 companies have won international innovative design awards. There are more than 10,000 exhibitors' R&D investment in the total sales revenue accounted for more than 10%.

The second is to become more digital and intelligent. It will further enrich the theme of digital technology and intelligent manufacturing, and there will be nearly 3,600 exhibitors, whose products include more than 90,000 intelligent products such as brain-computer interface intelligent bionic hands, automatic navigation and transportation equipment, and artificial intelligence translation machines. More than 50% of exhibitors are actively applying digital technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data analysis to transform production and operation.

Third, pay more attention to quality and standards. Canton Fair has always strictly the "quality" of exhibitors and display products of the "quality", strictly prohibit the occurrence of major quality accidents of enterprises to participate in the exhibition, exhibits must meet the quality of export products laws and regulations, the common goal of all enterprises in the Canton Fair is to achieve higher quality and standards. The 28,600 Chinese enterprises participating in the Canton Fair are excellent representatives of China's foreign trade enterprises, of which more than 6,700 foreign trade enterprises are involved in the formulation of international or domestic standards.

Fourth, we will better help stabilize the industrial chain and supply chain. The Canton Fair mainly displays consumer goods, but in recent years, the proportion of intermediate and capital goods on display has increased to 12%. In the machinery exhibition area where capital goods are concentrated, the booth size has increased by more than 50% in 5 years, and capital goods and intermediate goods are becoming more and more important in the Canton Fair. Through the Canton Fair and other platforms, China has provided a large number of high-quality products with strong competitiveness and stable supply to the world, helping countries, especially developing countries, achieve industrialization, and enhancing the resilience and stability of industrial and supply chains in our region and the world.

Fifth, we will provide better services and expand exchanges. According to statistics, since the inception of the Canton Fair, more than 9.3 million overseas merchants and 195 global partners have participated in the fair, which has effectively promoted trade exchanges and friendly exchanges between China and other countries and regions in the world.

In order to facilitate overseas buyers to participate in the Canton Fair in China, the visa processing and issuance time of 90 percent of Chinese embassies and consulates has been shortened to four working days. According to the survey, more than 80% of overseas buyers expressed satisfaction with the improvement. At the same time, 94% of exhibitors said that they have opened up new international markets through the Canton Fair, and 93% of exhibitors have strengthened exchanges with their international counterparts and mastered the development trends and trends of the international market.
